Where is your home?

I have a couple of phrases for you today, as I have been living here for amost 8 years now I was a bit nostagic about my home England so I thought to if I could find some English expressions for you .

Here one phrase for you,  "home is where the heart is", meaning a true home is where the person or place you most love is. Well, my true love is here so is my home here I think so now after 8 years.

Is it my home from home another expression, well yes. "a home from home"  a place where you are just as comfortable and content as if you were home at home.

My old home is now just a distant memory and our life now is very different than what it used to be.
